Beavercreek Golf Club in Beavercreek, Ohio has been selected to receive the
Environmental Stewardship Award from the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation. Previous

(OPARR) while also being an active member of the GCSAA’s Grassroots Ambassador
Within the state, Wike has been active in
meeting with legislators and informing them of the environmental and economic
impacts of golf and the turfgrass industry. He has taken the initiative to meet
with representatives at the statehouse and has also hosted them at golf courses
throughout the state to give them a first-hand look at how golf courses can
have a positive impact on the environment.
The Environmental Stewardship Award will be
presented to Mr. Wike on Tuesday, December 8th during the Awards,
Scholarship and Keynote Ceremony at the OTF Conference & Show and OSU Green
