We'd like to welcome the new coordinator of the Turfgrass Management program at Ohio State ATI, Zane Roudenbush, Ph.D.

Raudenbush began working at his hometown golf course at age fourteen and went on to pursue his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Turfgrass Management. During his time at Rutgers, he spent four summers at Oakmont Country Club helping prepare the grounds for the 2007 US Open. Raudenbush later was an assistant golf course superintendent at Bayonne Golf Club and West Shore Country Club before returning to get his master and doctoral degrees from Kansas State University.

Raudenbush’s doctoral research focused on the cultural and chemical control of silvery-thread moss in golf course putting greens. Currently, his research program develops ecologically-based weed management strategies for turfgrass systems.
