Organizers of the 2009 Ohio Turfgrass Conference & Show, December 7-10, Columbus, OH are pleased to announce Dick Durrance as this year’s Keynote Speaker. His presentation “Creating Opportunities: Seeing What Is – Imagining What Can Be” is scheduled for 3:00 pm, Tuesday, December 8 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Durrance, with stories and award winning images from photographing National Geographic assignments, combat in Vietnam, and global advertising campaigns, shows how to focus ones creative vision on the challenges they face. He is an award winning National Geographic Photographer now making a name for himself in the golf course industry with his incredible photography of golf courses around the world.
Durrance ignites passion for fresh ideas, reminding that creative vision does not just come from seeing what is, but from imagining what can be. He inspires listeners to harness their gifts, develop their skills, and build the teamwork needed to create fresh opportunities. The Ohio Turfgrass Conference & Show is celebrating its 43rd year as the largest regional turfgrass event in the country. More than 200 leading turfgrass suppliers will display the latest products and services available in turfgrass management. In addition to the three-day exhibition will be 100+ hours of educational programming covering a broad spectrum of turf management topics. More than 3500 turfgrass management professionals are expected to attend.
