Looking for a healthy lawn to enjoy with friends and family this summer? The following lawn care tips can help create a safe green space which benefits the environment and offers you a canvas to create memories!
  • MOW HIGH
Most lawns in Ohio are best suited to be mowed around 3"
  • 1/3 RULE
When mowing, do not remove more than 1/3 of the grass plant. Mowing too much of the grass blade (sometimes called "scalping") can cause the plant stress and make it susceptible to weeds, disease and other unwanted pests.
  • DON'T BAG!
Leave your clippings on the lawn. Grass clippings provide beneficial nutrients to your lawn all season long.
  • FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
When applying products to your lawn, always read and follow the label.
  • CLEAN UP
Be sure to sweep or blow your clippings and/or lawn care products off of hard surfaces and back onto your lawn.
